Oloriogun AND Ogbeni Oja of Ijebuland

Chief Dr. Sonny is the holder of the family’s hereditary title of Olor’ogun of Ijebuland also the Ogbeni Oja chieftaincy title enjoys precedence over any other chief in the palace of the Awujale, and the title is the highest that a freeborn Ijebu male can aspire to hold. In recent history, the late Chief Timothy Adeola Odutola and the late Chief Bayo Kuku were the holders of the title in succession.

CHAIRMAN

Provides leadership and moderates meetings and activities

Mr. Olabode Kuku has led the foundation since its inception in 2024, with many years of experience in community development and charitable work and events, he has focused on creating sustainable programs that benefit the Balogun Kuku family and the wider community. Olabode sits on the Board of Trustees of The House of Wells, a charity organisation that touches the hearts and lives of countless orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children in poverty-ravaged communities in Africa and the United Kingdom

VICE CHAIRMAN

Assists the Chairman in oversight functions over the Foundation. Stands in to lead and moderate meetings in the absence of the Chairman. Any other duties as may be assigned to him by the Chairman.

Mr. Abdulateef Kuku oversees the foundation's operations and strategic planning. His background in management and information technology has been instrumental in establishing sustainable models for our various programs.

FINANCIAL SECRETARY

Keeps the money and accounts of the foundation. Must be an account or similar finance based profession.

Ms. Ajoke Kuku manages and keeps our funds. She audits expenditures and ensures that all payments are receipted. Her financial checks and management are vital to ensure that we support family members better, making sure all approved payment are handled professionally and every naira counts for our beneficiaries.

GENERAL SECRETARY

Handles the secretariat of the organization. All documents, letters and communiqué of the foundation comes from his desk. Calls meetings, take minutes and publishes them, etc...

GB Kuku handles the secretariat of the organization. All documents, letters and communiqué of the foundation come from his desk. GB keeps all documentary records of the Foundation and provides sundry information. He is a Project Management Professional, Brand Implementation Expert and Publisher.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

This is the operational leader of the foundation. Sees to the day-to-day running of the foundation office and operations.

Adewale Kuku drives our mission to support and empower family members every day. He is responsible for the corporate running of the Foundation. Superintends over BKF Staff and generally manages our corporate image.

PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER

This is the image maker of the Foundation. His major CV in this role is closeness to the elders and vast about knowledge of history and people in the Balogun KUKU Dynasty​.

Kunle plays a multi-dimensional role within the foundation. He manages external communications, media relations and manages our reputation. Kunle promotes the Foundation's image, supports our beneficiaries and ensures our volunteers' well-being.

ASST. SECRETARY

Assists the General Secretary to carry out his duties. Stands in for the General Secretary when not available to take minutes of meetings, call for meetings and publish communiqués when the Gen. Sec. is absent or when assigned to do so.

Bukola helps to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, supporting the team to make a real difference. She is a meticulous organizer and assists to help pool members of the Dynasty together. She is always hands-on to help with everything that keeps the foundation on track.

WELFARE OFFICER

He is in charge of the welfare packages we offer our beneficiaries. Who gets what. How it gets to them. How it is managed. Ensure maximum impact of our altruistic ventures, etc...

Ayodeji KUKU is dedicated to supporting family members with care and compassion. Committed to uplifting our beneficiaries through welfare and support. He listens, helps, and guide members in need.

CORPORATE SERVICES OFFICER

This person upholds the corporate image of the foundation. He's in charge of the BRAND. The public perception of our foundation is within his purview. Advertisements, corporate communications and general brand propagation is his business.

Hammed serves as the Corporate Communications Director of the Foundation. He supports our charity's operations by ensuring that our brand receives positive attention, especially of targeted donors. He helps to keep our charity efforts organized and effective, reaching out in a direct and earnest manner that emphasizes the importance of giving to support the causes of BKF.

PROGRAMMES COORDINATING OFFICER:

The PCO shall plan programmes and events of the foundation and work with relevant officers to ensure successful execution of each event.

Mr. Ladipo Kuku is the Chief Coordinator of our programmes, which include mainly educational and health initiatives. Our medical outreach programmes, preventive and curative healthcare, workshops, scholarships and mentorship programs are all within his grip. His energy and innovative ideas help to revitalized our approach to project development.

Rilwon drives our organization's online presence and storytelling with creativity and expertise. Rilwan's passion for effective communication and world class graphic designs shines through in every post and update!

INFORMATION OFFICER

The Information Officer is responsible for managing, organizing, and disseminating information.

Oladeji built and manages the organsation website to ensures accurate and timely communication of the organization’s activities, programs, and impact to stakeholders, donors, volunteers, and the public. His responsibilities also include maintaining databases, monitoring information flow, supporting outreach campaigns, and facilitating knowledge management to enhance transparency and efficiency within the organization.
